• Any additional data submitted via onboarding forms

• Voice inputs and text interactions with StarCy

• Device and usage logs

• Preferences and behavior patterns to personalize experiences

We collect data when:

• You fill out onboarding forms

• You use voice or text to interact with StarCy

• You access the app (including via background wake-word detection)

All collected data is securely stored using Supabase.

4. Why We Collect Your Data

We use your data to:

• Deliver and improve personalized AI assistant experiences

• Understand user behavior to enhance StarCy’s performance

• Support emotional recognition and interaction features through Hume AI

• Improve safety, performance, and feature relevance

5. Third-Party Services

StarCy uses trusted third-party services to operate and enhance the product:

• Hume AI – for emotional intelligence and personalization

• Supabase – for secure backend storage and authentication

We do not sell your data. Limited user data is shared with Hume AI only for functional personalization purposes.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase with encrypted protocols. We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.

7. Cookies & Tracking

Currently, StarCy does not use cookies for tracking on the app. If used in the future for analytics, this policy will be updated accordingly.

8. User Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you

• Correct any inaccurate data

• Request deletion of your data

• Withdraw consent to processing at any time

You can delete your account directly via the app:

Settings → Data Controls → Delete Account

9. Children’s Privacy

StarCy is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users below this age. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on our website. Continued use of StarCy after updates indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
